Welcome to the Jodrell Bank Summer Sportive organised by the Team Torelli Cycling ClubWe have got two great routes around the Cheshire plains  65 miles and 100 miles. Routes have been designed by experienced cyclists from locals clubs and keep to mainly B roads

EASY TO ENTER
You do not need to be in a club to ride or need any sort of licence. You must however be reasonably fit, have a road worthy bike and a helmet.
We organise our events to cater for all abilities and have 3 routes of differing distances. So wether you are a complete novice, an experienced sportive rider or a hardened club rider our events will be suitable.
We are also one of the few organised sportive or cycle events that take entries on the day. That means you can just turn up and ride. You will also find that we are also one of the friendliest

We are one of the few Sportive to allow riders to enter on the day. All we ask is that you turn up early with an entry form and a route map which you can download from the website see the column on the right and get here early to help us get you through registration.

FEEDING STATIONS
We will have feeding stations at approximately half distance for the  65 Mile events and at a third and two thirds distance on the 100 Mile event.
We will have all the usual food at you would expect at a feeding station. High 5 Energy Gels, Bananas, Flap Jacks, High 5 Energy Drink to top up your bottles and Fresh Water.

PRE EVENT
Free Hot Drinks, Tea and Coffee available in the registration room

POST EVENT
Free Hot Drinks, Tea and Coffee. Plus our Belgian style Bratwurst Hot Dogs with Onions and Tomato Sauce. Plus our now famous Cake.

TIMING

We have a Barcode Timing System. Please make sure your number is attached to your handle bars and the Barcode is not obscured

Route Maps can be download from the website see the right hand column

GPS Files
GPS files can be downloaded from the website via Bikely website follow the links, see right hand column.

Click on the route map in the right hand column. Wait for the map to load. Then click on the title of the map, it will take you to the Bikely website. Click on Share, there is a drop down menu and select Download GPX

PHOTOGRAPHS
Photographer will be Chris Meads a very talented photographer and a keen local cyclist

PARKING
There is plenty of parking at the Leisure Centre and also the High School next door. Please follow the instructions of the Leisure Centre Staff they are there to help you.

POLITE NOTICE
There is plenty of parking at the Leisure Centre and the School next door. If you do park on the road outside DO NOT obstruct the driveways of the local residents. If you do you are likely to get a parking ticket and may have your vehicle towed away

SIGNAGE
We use a Black Arrow on a Florescent Yellow background to sign the route. The Route signs are put out just before the events and are checked on the morning of the event. We also have a vehicle that proceeds the riders making sure the signs are still in place.

NO EXCUSES FOR GETTING LOST

REFUNDS
Along with most other sportive events we do not do refunds. We do allow you to transfer to one of our other events if you are unable to ride. You must transfer before the online entry closing date for this event.
